Using a VNC client
Install the software

For Mac: download TigerVNC-version.dmg, open the file and drag the TigerVNC app to your Applications folder

For Windows: download vncviewer64-version.exe to your desktop

For Ubuntu, run
sudo apt-get install tigervnc-viewer tigervnc-commonfrom the terminal -
For iOS devices: Jump

For Android devices: RealVNC
Set up an encrypted connection
Connect to VLAB
- Windows: double-click the app you downloaded to your desktop
- Mac: Run TigerVNC from your Applications folder
- Ubuntu: Run
vncviewerfrom the console.

In the VNC client login window, enter your zID and zPass

Using a web browser

- Go to http://vlabgateway.cse.unsw.edu.au
- Click the link for the desktop resolution you want.
- Log in with your zID and zPass
- When you're finished, close the browser window.
