Consult Labs
There are no scheduled labs for the course. Instead students will be working on their own schedule and making use of the consultation lab times as required. The consultation times and locations are tabled below.
The scheduled consultations and locations are where students must demonstrate their project milestones.
Students also have 24/7 access to the Lyre lab (G12, K17 CSE) for after hours access (the Lyre lab is heavily booked and mostly unavailable during normal hours).
During other times (i.e. outside of consultation times during normal hours) students can plan the use of labs by checking the pages below:
- This page shows today's lab bookings: https://status.cse.unsw.edu.au/labstatus/.
- This page shows the current term's lab bookings (subject to change at any time): https://cgi.cse.unsw.edu.au/~give/Timetables/labs/current/index.html.
Project Consultations
Initial startup consultations. These consultations are provided to help you familiarise yourself with the development environment on CSE equipment and (where possible) help you set up a development environment on your personal machine.
After week 1, consultations times will become an opportunity to seek project-related help or guidance from an experienced lab demonstrator.
