  • Supplementary Final Exam Reminder

  • myExperience Reminder

    myExperience closes tomorrow (Thursday). If you have not yet filled out the survey at https://myexperience.unsw.edu.au, we ask that you please take a few minutes to complete it by tomorrow.

  • Tutorial 10

    In this week’s tutorial, your tutor will discuss problems from NCPC 2017, primarily focusing on problems B, D, E, G and I. We recommend that you read the problems before attending the tutorial.

  • Contest 3 Embargo

    Please do not discuss problems from contest 3 publicly until Wednesday 17th November.

  • Contest 3 Announcement

    Contest 3 will take place on Friday 12th November and Saturday 13th November. You can participate during a three-hour timeslot of your choice. Please book a timeslot using this form, and read the contests page for more details.

  • Problem Sets 6 and 7 Extended

    We’ve extended the due dates for problem sets 6 and 7 by a week. They are now due on the 16th and 23rd of November respectively, in weeks 10 and 11. Problem set 8 will be due on the 7th of December. Each diary entry is due two days after the corresponding problem set, so in particular diary entry 8 is due on the last day of the final exam period.

  • CSESoc & CPMSoc Programming Contest 2021

  • Lecture 7

    My home internet is down today, so unfortunately I will not be able to deliver the lecture over Zoom. As a result, today’s lecture is cancelled. I will instead record the video offline, to be uploaded when the outage ends. Today’s consultation is also cancelled - please email me if you would like to organise an alternative time for consultation this week.

  • Contest 2 Rescheduled

    To avoid a clash with the South Pacific Divisional contest, Contest 2 will be held at the end of Week 4, not the end of Week 5. It will include problems related to only the first three weeks of lectures.
