Research

I am an Adjunct Associate Professor in automated reasoning group and founder of several high-tech startups.

CEO at NeoHive, a deep-tech company building context engineering for AI. NeoHive is a cognitive memory solution for unlimited context memory that supercharges Claude/CoPilot/ChatGPT/Cursor while massively reducing token costs.

Founded Logilica, a Software Engineering Intelligence company that enables engineering teams to ship faster, underpinned by data analytics and genAI research.

Former principal scientist in the Software Systems Group at NICTA/CSIRO. I led the research and development of Goanna, a static analysis solution based on software model checking for C/C++ application security. Acquired by Synopsys.

My research sits at the intersection of program analysis and AI for software engineering. Foundational work spans model checking, abstract interpretation, and static analysis, with applications in cyber security and automated quality assurance. Current interests center on the cognitive memory and context engineering that AI coding systems need to reason reliably over large, evolving codebases: memory architectures for LLMs, AST-aware context construction, and measuring the impact of AI across the software development lifecycle.
