I’m sorry for the change of plans but there will be NO Contest 2 in the week 10 labs.

The 8% originally assigned to Contest 2 will be moved to the finals so the finals will now be worth 32%.

The week 10 labs will instead be run as a regular lab. Since it is the last scheduled lab, you should take the opportunity to clarify any concepts or issues you are having before the finals.

In lieu of Contest 2, a practice contest resembling what would have been Contest 2 will be added to DOMJudge. It is worth no marks, feel free to do it in as close to exam conditions as you like. Last year’s finals will also be uploaded for practice at some point.

Finals will still run as planned. Expect around 8 problems, many with subtasks. There will be a difficulty curve, with the easiest problems directly testing core concepts of the course. The exam environment will be the same as the one for Contest 1.
