2. Expectations

The forum aims to be a ❤️‍🔥 friendly community ❤️‍🔥 for everyone to learn and grow in 🌱

As a participant on the forum, we expect all students to:

• to be respectful of others (including staff) and mindful of others at different stages of learning
• cite sources in your answers to help fellow students find information
  • Whilst you may use generative AI, e.g. ChatGPT, as a learning resource, you should cite it as a source when used.

We're doing our best with the resources we have available to help you with your queries 🐳. In general, you should expect:

• a first response to quick questions within ~24 hours
• a first response and resolution to complicated questions, e.g. debugging, within ~60 hours
• most requests to be resolved within ~72 hours

Bump us if we might have missed you!

The teaching staff will point you in the right direction, unblock you, and help you learn. However, we can NOT give out answers or solve your problems for you.

We ask students to respect this and take appropriate care when asking questions (e.g. by filling-out question templates) and in investigating problems themselves (e.g. by through searching online or reading other course resources available)!

Note: If your enquiry is about project marking, group issues or tutorials, your tutor will be the best contact to help you with such enquiries.
