Programming Fundamentals

MyExperience

The first 10 minutes of the lab is set aside for you to complete the myExperience survey for COMP1511. Your answers are confidential and you should not show them to your tutor.

Optional: Talk to your Tutors

During this lab, you may have time to talk to your tutors. Tutors are all former COMP1511 students, so you might like to get their tips for the exam, for future uni courses, and more generally about life after COMP1511.

Practice Exam

Once you've done your MyExperience - press the button below to reveal the pracexam information

For this week's lab, all your questions are in the Practice Exam Environment, which is linked to below. Your Practice Exam is worth marks in the Week 10 lab.

This section of the lab will not be run under full exam conditions or time limits but it will be a good chance for you to familiarise yourself with how the questions will be structured as well as how auto testing and submission works.

Remember that in the exam you are allowed to access the course website, but you are not able to access the wider internet. If you are completing the practice exam online, you might like to try these exercises with those restrictions so that you have some familiarity with the format.

The practice exam contains an example of each of the questions in the final exam. It is designed to mirror the difficulty of the final exam.

We are not enforcing exam conditions but try to do the questions under simulated exam conditions. If you can't complete the questions, you can talk to your tutors.
