Late Submission Policy
General Information (Applies to All Assessments)

Submission Method: All assessments must be submitted via the designated system. Submissions via email or other means will not be accepted.

Student Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring that your final submission is successfully recorded before the deadline and includes the work you wish to be assessed.

Extensions & Adjustments: Variations to assessment conditions (extensions, reweighting, etc.) are only granted through approved Special Consideration or Equitable Learning Services (ELS).
1. Weekly Practicals and Quizzes
These tasks support ongoing learning and preparation for upcoming topics.

Strict Deadlines: Submissions after the deadline will not be accepted and will receive a mark of zero.
2. Large Assignment
Late submissions are permitted for the large assignment, subject to the following conditions:

Late Penalty: A penalty of 5% of the total available marks applies for each 24-hour period (or part thereof) that the submission is late.

5-Day Cut-off: Submissions more than 5 days (120 hours) late will not be accepted and will receive a mark of zero.
If you cannot submit your assessment on time
Special Consideration
When illness or circumstances beyond your control interfere with your assessment performance, you may be eligible to apply for Special Consideration; a process for assessing the impact of unexpected, short-term events on your ability to complete a specific assessment task.

Equitable Learning Services can provide you with ongoing support if your studies are impacted by one or more of the following:
