I am just getting into wildlife (mostly amphibian) sound recording. To dat=
e I have been happy with my Sennheiser ME66 Shotgun unit and Olympus LS rec=
oders.
But now I'm ready to try some more realistic stereo recording. I've read m=
any DIY SASS and other XY type setup rigs and am thinking of trying that ne=
xt. I have decided on two inexpensive EM 158 mics from Froglogger.com, but=
now I have a stupid question.....
How do I connect the two mics to my LS-11 recorder so that one mic records =
to one channel and the other mic to the other? The LS-11 has a single 3.5 =
microphone input.
I am a biologist, not a sound engineer and haven't ever soldered anything i=
n my life. I guess if I have to get a solder gun and head down to Radio Sh=
ack I could certainly do it, but I would rather buy some inexpensive, prema=
de adapter plug made by someone with experience. Does such a thing exist?
TIA
