Hi
Reading the Roland info IARC appears
to relate to the use of electrolytic
capacitors and an independent power
supply for the analouge circuits.
So I don't think you need to worry about
it 'removing' anything.
Think of it more as a marketing gimmick.

I have a question about the Edirol R09HR:
For general specs and reference :
http://www.zzounds.com/item--EDIR09HR
This particular model has a feature called:
"Newly developed Isolated Adaptive Recording Circuit - I.A.R.C"
Question: Does this Edirol recorder record whats fully there ? - all
noise included- or does it aim to edit out "noise" for some
psychoacoustic human listening or musical listening purpose? For my own
nature recording purposes, I need the full spectrum of "noise".
I hope my question makes sense, if not I will try to clarify further.
Thanks again in advance for any replies.
