I believe the Microtrack does provide some phantom power but not the
full 48v. I think it only provides like 32v. In effect this would be
less than desirable as you will not get the full functionality of the
microphone. Still, I suppose it works. There are 2 1/4" jacks on the
Microtrack right? So if you get the right cable then it will work
presumably.
Another option is to get mics that are self-powered. You could get
some Sennhesier ME series mics that have onboard batteries. Then if
you have the right cable, XLR to 1/4", it will work.
I can't vouch for the preamp, etc. I've never used a Microtrack.
