Early on in their use a couple of years ago they had a problem with the
encoding software they were using. This caused some occasional data dropout=
s. Once
they corrrected that it's been smooth sailing. NPR and other American
broadcasters with cooperative agreements with the EBU are getting concerts =
from EBU as
FLAC and decoding them to WAV without problem.
A growing number of audio software titles for the Mac and PC also now can
import and export files in FLAC format.
Kudos to Sound Devices for adding this option.
