I was wondering if anyone could hear the high frequency noise,
especially in the quiet sections (though I hear similar artifacts in
other nature recordings as well). That's what prompted the Recording
"Hiss" thread. Since these are really my first field recordings with
sensitive equipment, my expectation was that I would not be able to
hear any mic noise, but thats another thread. Stupid physics.

My friend Lael described the gray tree frog calls as songs. "You
should record the ones that sing, the others just chirp".
If I lived in the countryside, I am not sure that I would be so
interested in recording and sharing, since I would be able to step
outside and hear it all the time (at least in the spring).
