I use my SD 744 in the field - over the shoulder, and usually sitting
while recording but often moving with it on but not recording. The
shockmounting of the internal drive seems to protect it sufficiently,
but it ia barely over a year old. I always record to CF and internal
drive so one should survive if the other doesn't!
In film use, with a boom or RF mics, it is entirely likely to be moving
while recording.
