Hello, I'm considering the purchase of a Sound Devices 744T as I'm hoping = to do some some experiments with Multi-Channel recordings. It seems to me = the main drawback of the 744T is only 2 micpres. Can anyone recommend a sm= all and portable 2 channel micpre that I could use with this recorder? Siz= e is of the essence as I find that the more gear I carry the less likely I = am to find the great sounds. Basically I would want level control and phan= tom power in a portable package. One that seemed to fit the bill is a Sono= sax SX-M2 http://www.sonosax.com/index2.html. Does anybody know of any oth= ers that might work for this application? Lori Beckstead |
