xeno-canto update

Hello naturerecordists,

Here is a brief update on www.xeno-canto.org <http://www.xeno-canto.org/>.

Last month has seen the largest increase in number of recordings and
species on the site so far. The recordings added were from Brazil,
Mexico, the US, Costa Rica, Panama and Suriname. At this moment the
collection has 1192 recordings of  730 species. The latest 200 additions
can be found here. <http://www.xeno-canto.org/order_of_appearance.php>

There have been a number of changes and additions designed to make
navigation of the site and the collection easier, such as a map
<http://www.xeno-canto.org/perc_map.php> showing the coverage of the
main neotropical biomes.

Again, everyone with recordings from species occuring in the area
covered by the map is encouraged to share them!
