A fairly quiet morning, but feeding flocks were found in a few places. Today was the first time since heavy rains that I have ventured down the green valley towards the NW back fence. There were Jewel spider webs and others in abundance and lots of brown butterflies landing and rising around me – almost like being in a fairy tale. Clearing of Radiata Pines for East Denman Prospect housing appears to be almost complete below the back fences of Bluetts Block. Jean
