Hi All,
There is a nice little book published by Collins covering the major
birding spots in the UK an individual European countries, titled something like
"Where to find Birds in Britain and Europe". Try Collins website or Amazon UK.
We have used it for France and Spain, the UK.
More detailed "bibles" on individual European countries are available
, we used the Italy one earlier this year, it includes numerous sites including
where to find the "Italian Sparrow", a hybrid between the Spanish and House
Sparrows. Published by Lynx Editions, ours came from them direct, it is very
good. Look it up on their website.
All our trips include visits to birding spots, adds enormously to them.
Have a great time on yours.
Cheers
Michael
