Graham
Earlier this year I visited the Edithvale-Seaford Wetlands and struck up a
conversation with a photographer who was busily snapping raptors, etc
soaring overhead. He was a professional photographer of relatively mature
years and our conversation turned to digitising slides. His advice;
carefully select only your best slides and get them digitised
professionally.

[Birding-Aus] Digitising slides and
29/08/08 05:11 PM prints - non birding
While we are on the topic of technology, does anyone know if the price of
getting photographs digitised has come down at all. I know this was raised
on the list some time ago but was wondering if there had been a drop in the
outrageous price that was being asked. ( I assume that if one provider
offers a cheaper service, others will follow).
Or is it now possible to do it yourself at a reasonable price / quality.
Thanks
Graham Turner
