CSIRO Publishing's "The Natural Selection" (No 21 Sep 07-Jan 08) lists -

    "Systematics & Taxonomy of Australian Birds" by Christidis & Boles

and says it lists all those species of birds recorded from Australia and
surrounding waters.  No mention is made of any material other than lists of
species.

I would expect there to be more than just a list of names.  248 pages
suggests that there is.  But what?  Can anyone comment?  TIA
