re Bristlebirds

Had a look at the link and found no reference to
bristlebirds on Fraser Island, am I blind?
Are there any historic evidence of this species on the
island? From what limited knowledge I have on this
species I thought they were sedentary, or atleast they
don't wander large differences (esp accross water).
Eastern Whipbird certainly seems the most likely.
