I just spent last evening up at Mt Glorious (SEQld) watching a Sooty Owl
calling on a branch no more than 10m away from me. Amazing! What a buzz!
I also saw a Marbled Frogmouth (race Plumiferus), which are quite different to
the usual Tawny Forgmouth we see.
Possibly not that interesting for some people out there but a great night of
birding as far as I was concerned.
