As I always have said: "you won't get rich as a biologist, but you get
around"! I have received an invitation to come to Wellington, NZ, for two
weeks and work in the collections at NIWA there, and I shall probably go
there around 25 February. I won't have much time for birding, I fear (the
amphipods will definitely come first), but I shall nevertheless be most
grateful for all information about places to go in the immediate
surroundings of Wellington, and especially for a chance to accompany local
birders in organized or spontaneous birding trips during this period. Many
thanks in advance!
