Hi All
Found 12 new seabirds on boating trips. Bought a book" Sea Birds of New
Zealand."
Two highlights of the trip were Brown Skua at Doubtful Sounds and at Hanmer
River Holiday Park,Hanmer Springs South Island ,we were allocated space in the
tent area and at dusk had Brown and California Quail and Chukor loitering
around our van. Found Black Stilt between Mount Cook and Twizel.
Just south of Twizel at a Power House a convoy of birders searched for the
stilts.
