Hi All,
Thousands of birdwatchers of whole Europe are descending on Lincolnshire
after an American Green Heron (
Butorides striatus ) was seen on British soil for only the third time in
more than 110 years.
The first sighting was in Cornwall in 1890 and then in North of Humberside
in 1982. Experts have no Idea how and why the bird ended up in Messingham.
