Hi all,
I'm just back from Cape York after travelling about for 3 months from
Adelaide to the tip and back.
There's some great birds about, especially in the rainforests.
Some highlights for me were :
purple-crowned fairy wren at Lawn Hill NP
Palm Cockatoo at Weipa & Chilli Beach
Black Butcherbird at Pilgrim Sands
Satin & Regent bowerbirds
Green Catbird
Logrunner feeding young
yellow fern wrens
paradise riflebird
Albert's lyrebird all At Lamington NP
red-backed fairy wren &
Eastern whipbird at Eungella + the Platypus
Spotted Catbird and Chowchilla at Malanda
Cheers,
Peter.
