birding-aus
I currently live in Brisbane & will be visiting family in Melbourne
February 12th to 24th, staying primarily in Mentone. I hope to make
sometime available for birding.
Could anyone please give me advice about finding any of the following:
Musk Lorikeet Striated Fieldwren
Blue Billed Duck Shy Heathwren
Blue Winged Parrot European Treesparrow
Fairy Tern Eoropean Greenfinch
Australian Gannet European Goldfinch
Grey Currawong Gilbert's Whistler
Rufous Whistler
I have been thinking about trying to get to Werribee Sewerage Farm. Is
anyone likely to be going there in this period and wouldn't mind some
company? or is there anyone in Melb southern suburbs who would like to
share some birding time in this period?
Any information much appreciated.
It is sad when one thinks of all the previous time one lived in Melbourne
and took very little notice of the birds and now in a short visit I would
love to go so many places!
Cheers
