Highlights in New South Wales over the last week are as follows:
BROWN QUAIL 4 Mason Park, Homebush Bay 5/4
BEACH STONE-CURLEW 1 all week Coledale Beach, north of Wollongong -
extraordinary record as this is well south of range
RED-NECKED AVOCET 9 Stockton Beach, Newcastle 5/4
SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER 300 Kooragang Island, Newcastle 5/4
WHITE-WINGED BLACK TERN now up to 40 at Nobby's Head, Newcastle 5/4
SACRED KINGFISHER 1 Munmorah State Rec., Centarl Coast 28/3
BLACK-BACKED WAGTAIL 1 reported Glendale Shopping Centre, Lake
Macquarie (Central Coast) 5/4
RUFOUS FANTAIL 1 Bilgola, Sydney 29/3 and 1 Mitchell Park, Windsor
30/3
SATIN FLYCATCER 2 Bilgola, Sydney 29/3
BLACK-FACED MONARCH 1 Bayview Golf Course, Sydney 21/3
and many Yellow-faced Honeyeaters passing over Sydney this weekend.
