     I too leave on Sunday for Manila - unfortunately business but I should 
     get at least 1 day's birding. Thanks to Machida Shi for earlier tips 
     but any one else with info I would be grateful for

Dear birders,
     
A friend of mine, Don Gaydon, and his girlfriend leave for the 
Phillipines tomorrow (30/10) for a couple of days.  Don will have some 
free time and  asked if I could contact you to find the names and phone 
numbers of any clubs or private contacts ove there that could give him 
some advice re birding around Manilla.  Please reply to me by email 
today or ring Don direct on his phone/fax in Brisbane (07) 3822 1684.
