Tim Nicholls is currently producing a wildlife documentary for the ABC
that investigates the "plague" numbers of Currwongs in Sydney and the
effect this is having on small bird populations.
The subtext of this program asks the question as to what form the
environment our city's should take and what responsibilty we should
accept for today and into the future.
We are currently filming the winter flocking characteristics of the
currawong and would be pleased to hear from anybody in the Sydney region
who spots large flocks.
World famous avian cinematographer, Nick Hayward, will be in Sydney
until the 28 July 1997 to film these sequences - so please call the
producer, Tim Nicholls, by return E-Mail or on 015 100 404 or 02 9925
0766.
Nick will also be back in Sydney as the nesting season gets underway
(Late August to late September) - SO IF YOU SEE A PAIR PUTTING TOGETHER
A NEST, LET US KNOW!
Many Thanks - Tim Nicholls
