After my enquiry of a couple of weeks ago about Neo-tropical bird migration
and Costa Rica I've learnt that neotropical migrants are present in
Jan-Feb-Mar in CR, and are gone by April (someone also commented on my
blithe confidence in assuming that I could indentify many of these spp out
of breeding plumage, never having seen them in breeding plumage...)
Anyway I'm thinking about a trip to Costa Rica in February next year, and I
was wondering whether anyone who was also thinking of travelling to the
region at that time, or who could be tempted to, would like to cooperate
with us in sharing transport &c &c for the trip or part of it. If so, let me
know.
It's never too early to start planning
.
