Highlights in NSW over the last week are as follows - I have excluded the
amazing birds seen on the Wollongong pelagic of 27 October:
GIANT PETREL 1 "white phase" Coogee 22/10
CAPE PETREL 10 Long Reef 22/10
STEAKED SHEARWATER 1 Long Reef 26/10
AUSTRALASIAN BITTERN 6 Lake Tuckerbill, Leeton 19/10 and 1 Myall
Lakes, north of Newcastle 9/10
BANDED LAPWING 9 Powell's Lane, Richmond 19/10
COMMON TERN 56 Mistral Point, Coogee 21/10
WHISKERED TERN 2 Pittown Lagoon, Windsor 19/10
SUPERB PARROT 40 Yass 18/10
BRUSH CUCKOO 1 Glenbrook, Blue Mountains 21/10
REGENT HONEYEATER 2 Capertee Valley 15/10
PAINTED HONEYEATER 1+ Griffith 19/10
