The organizing committee of BuildSEC’25 solicits proposals for full-day and half-day workshops to be held in conjunction with the main conference. The purpose of a workshop is to provide an opportunity for participants to present and discuss novel ideas on current and emerging topics relevant to cybersecurity.
Each workshop should be organized under a well-defined theme focusing on emerging research areas, challenging problems, and/or industrial/governmental/societal issues related to cybersecurity. Novel ideas, open problems, multi-disciplinary issues, and applications of AI/ML in cybersecurity are strongly encouraged.

- Security for Autonomous Systems – Vehicles/UAVs
- Cyber-Physical Systems Security
- Quantum Resilient Cybersecurity Solutions / Post-Quantum Security
- Advances in Biometric-based Security
Workshops are intended to allow authors and research groups to present their work. The format can include invited speakers, paper presentations, and panel discussions. Workshop organizers are responsible for managing the full content, website, publicity, review process, and proceedings (if applicable).
Workshop Proposal Submission
Submit your proposal by email to the Workshop Chairs (PDF or DOC format) including:
- Workshop title and acronym
- Abstract (under 200 words)
- Proposed format (invited talks, open CFP, etc.)
- Program chair(s) details and experience
- Primary contact person
- Organizing committee and tentative program
- Topics and scope aligned with BuildSEC’25
- History (if applicable)
- Proceedings plan (if any)
- Half-day or Full-day preference
Selection Criteria
- Quality and completeness of proposal
- Relevance and timeliness
- Interest and suitability to cybersecurity
- Organizers’ experience
