CALL FOR TUTORIALS
The Organizing Committee of IEEE BuildSec’25 invites proposals for tutorials on recent and emerging topics in Cyber Security. The tutorials aim to cover both foundational concepts and cutting-edge developments within the IEEE BuildSec theme.
Participants will gain exposure to the latest tools, trends, and practices in cybersecurity and are encouraged to engage in knowledge sharing and discussions.
Tutorial Format
We welcome proposals that combine theory with practical applications and target a mixed audience from academia (students and researchers) and industry. Tutorials may be of two durations:
- Half-day: 3 hours (2 session slots)
- Quarter-day: 1.5 hours (1 session slot)
Tutorial Proposal Requirements
Proposals should clearly articulate the content, relevance, and timeliness of the tutorial. Submissions must include:
- Tutorial title and abstract
- Brief description and outline
- Justification of importance and relevance to the IEEE BuildSec’25 audience
- Name(s) of the presenter(s)
- Brief CV(s) of the presenter(s)
- Summary of prior tutorial or teaching experience
- Intended target audience
- Logistics support required from IIT Patna

Selection Criteria
- Relevance and timeliness
- Technical content quality and novelty
- Presenter experience and clarity of proposal
Note: Accommodation for the tutorial presenters will be provided at IIT Patna. Limited travel support may also be available.
