access to online APIs, giving birth to many mashups along the way.


As the provider of APIs for Search, Flickr, Maps and many others, Yahoo!
need to ensure that these web services scale. Using open software such
as Squid, Apache and PHP, Neil Wilkinson and Rob Sharp will explain how
Yahoo! - and indeed anyone - can easily handle hundreds of API queries
per second.
