Things I wish I had more time for
I've always wanted to design a Programming Language, as I have never been really satified with anything I have used.
I would really like to write a Document Editor which handled documents in the right way, and was easy to add new applications to.
Rob Pike once wrote that there has been nothing new in OS design since pipes, or something like that. Basically the idea is that pipes are a new a good way to connect programs, but they aren't perfect - why hasn't someone come up with a better answer. Ofcourse, I have since thought about the problem...
Maybe one day I'll re-write my mail system.
