When you are involved with a design project it is important to arrive at meetings well prepared. This makes sure that you have thought about the task and have something to contribute to the team meeting.
In this course you will do your own individual preparation by reading the text book (Voland) and carrying out some design tasks associated with the first three phases of the design process. This will be submitted before the lecture and timetabled team meeting, so that your team mentor can check levels of preparation. This will make the team process more effective as everybody arrives at the meeting prepared and ready to contribute.
You will use the wiki (and not WebCT) to submit your individual preparation for phase 1, 2 and 3 of your LearningPortfolio.
Make sure you are logged in to the wiki. Click on your user name (under User in the menu to the right). Click on the link to /PhaseOne, /PhaseTwo, or /PhaseThree on your home page. Edit that page and save it.
Phase 1 preparation is due Monday March 31 at 1pm
Phase 2 preparation is due Monday April 14 at 1pm
Phase 3 preparation is due Monday April 28 at 1pm
Remember that for each phase you must also submit your learning portfolio and evaluate other's portfolios using the calibrated peer review system.
