A provisional result of “WD” means you need to come to one of my consults to discuss possible plagiarism.

A result of “WC” means you have a supplementary exam Wed 30 November at 8:45am (in Keith Burrows theatre).

A provisional result of “UF” means that you have failed because you get less than 40% in either the exam or the assignments.

You can look at your exam and ask about the marking if you come to one of my consults. (Mon 12-1 or Wed 2-4.)

Smart Sparrow is a start-up recently spun out of CSE, commercializing Intelligent Tutoring Technology (AI-driven content that adapts to users). They are building web-based rich games and simulations and are offering talented Graphics and Advanced Graphics students a summer scholarship with an opportunity to land a part-time and even full-time position. Successful candidates will get to work with the start-up core team on cutting edge 3D projects. Smart Sparrow is located on campus (in the CSE building). The animation we saw during the break was Presto.

As well as my consults Monday at 12-1 and Wednesday at 2-4pm, I’m running an extra consult on the Monday before the exam. Meet at the consult room (G01) at 1:30, but we’ll probably go down to the tute room in the basement of K17 (B01).
